Cetilar Racing Heads to Asia for a Brand New and Exciting Challenge
Roberto Lacorte, Antonio Fuoco and Charles Milesi to compete in LMP2

After competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship campaign in the United States, Cetilar Racing team is already looking ahead and preparing for a brand-new and exciting challenge.
From one continent to another, Roberto Lacorte's squad is now ready to take on a commitment in the Asian Le Mans Series, fielding an Oreca LMP2, once again bearing the number 47.
Sharing driving duties in the car run by AF Corse - continuing a partnership that has now been in place for several seasons - will be Roberto Lacorte himself, young Frenchman Charles Milesi and Ferrari factory driver Antonio Fuoco, the latter winner of the 2024 edition of Le Mans 24h.
24-year-old Milesi, reigning European Le Mans Series LMP2 champion and FIA WEC class title winner - as well as a class win at Le Mans 24h in 2021 - will make his first appearance under the Cetilar Racing banner.
The team has already been out on track in Portimão, completing two test-days with all three drivers ahead of the first of the three rounds to be held at the Sepang Circuit on December 12, 13 and 14. From Malaysia, the series will move to Dubai (January 29- February 1), before heading to Abu Dhabi on the weekend of February 7-8.
The Asian Le Mans Series campaign is also aimed at securing an invitation to the 2026 Le Mans 24h. In the legendary race at La Sarthe, Cetilar Racing boasts five consecutive entries since 2017, when it achieved a best-in-class seventh place and ninth overall with the Dallara P217 (six total participations for Roberto Lacorte himself).
“We are ready to face several challenges at once. First, to earn the 2026 entry for Le Mans 24h. Then the switch from GT to LMP2, a category in which we return with a great car, one that demands extreme driving conditions in terms of speed and G-force, with a configuration that offers a lot of power combined with limited weight,” commented Roberto Lacorte. “Before the opening round, we have planned five days of testing, which will give us great confidence. Last but not least, the two drivers joining me are the very best one could hope for in the global endurance racing scenario.”
“I’m excited to begin a new chapter of my journey with Cetilar Racing, a team I’m particularly attached to,” added Antonio Fuoco. “The Asian Le Mans Series is undoubtedly a very stimulating challenge, and it will be interesting to tackle it with an LMP2 car.”
“Obviously, I’m super happy to be racing with Cetilar Racing and AF Corse. It will be my first time in the Asian Le Mans Series, and it will also be exciting to discover circuits I have never been to before, such as Sepang, Dubai and Abu Dhabi,” concluded Charles Milesi. “I think we have an excellent crew to fight for the top positions, with the main goal of winning the championship.”
