Manthey will enter its third season in the Asian Le Mans Series (ALMS) in 2026/2027. Once again, the team will field two Porsche 911 GT3 R in the highly competitive GT class, relying on newly assembled driver line-ups for its latest campaign. The No. 91 Porsche 911 GT3 R will be shared by Max Moritz (Germany), Klaus Bachler (Austria) and Raphael Rennhofer (Austria), while Joel Monegro (Dominican Republic), Richard Lietz (Austria) and Flynt Schuring (Netherlands) will compete in the sister car, the No. 92 Porsche 911 GT3 R. Both Manthey entries will sport the distinctive Streamline Design livery, which already featured on the team's cars at the Nürburgring 24 Hours and the DTM season finale in 2026.

The season will begin in Le Castellet, France, where the opening two rounds will take place at Circuit Paul Ricard on 14 and 15 November 2026. Following the winter break, the championship heads to Circuito de Jerez on 15 and 16 January 2027 before concluding at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão on 19 and 20 February 2027. With a total of 47 entries, including 29 GT3 cars, the Asian Le Mans Series once again promises exciting GT racing.

"We are very much looking forward to our third season in the Asian Le Mans Series. After narrowly missing out on defending our title last year, our goal is to fight for the championship again this season. To do that, we have assembled two very strong driver line-ups featuring both familiar and new faces. We are particularly excited about the stories behind these crews: Raphael Rennhofer has worked his way through our development programmes and now makes the step into GT3 racing. Joel Monegro has progressed alongside us from his first experiences in Porsche Track Experience all the way to the Asian Le Mans Series. With Flynt Schuring, we have the opportunity to support the next talent from the Schuring family following the success we shared with his brother Morris. Alongside them, Klaus Bachler and Richard Lietz bring invaluable experience and represent important constants within our programmes. These line-ups demonstrate how closely connected the different areas and projects within Manthey are. Now, we want to translate that collaboration into sporting success and challenge for the title with both cars," explains Patrick Arkenau, Head of Racing at Manthey.

For the No. 91 Porsche 911 GT3 R, the Meuspath-based team relies on a driver trio that has already gained valuable experience together. Max Moritz and Klaus Bachler competed together throughout the 2026 European Le Mans Series season and secured a podium finish at the season finale in Portimão. At the final round of the GT World Challenge Europe season, Raphael Rennhofer joined the pair, allowing the No. 91 crew to come together in its full ALMS configuration for the first time at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve. For Bachler, the new season marks the continuation of a long-standing relationship with Manthey. Since 2024, the Austrian has been part of several of the team's programmes and has celebrated successes including the ALMS title, as well as victories in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup. Rennhofer began his motorsport career in karting before gaining experience in various GT4 championships between 2023 and 2025. At the same time, he developed a strong focus on sim racing. Two championship titles in the Porsche Esports Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PEETN), organised by Manthey, paved the way for his first season on the real Nürburgring Nordschleife in 2026. Competing in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN), he successfully raced a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup in the CUP 2 class and was awarded the PETN Junior 2027 title in October 2026. The ALMS campaign now represents the next step in the Austrian's career.

A similar story of long-term collaboration and driver development can be found in the No. 92 crew. Joel Monegro progressed through the Porsche Track Experience operated by Manthey programme, from his first GT3 training sessions to his introduction to motorsport competition. Following his first racing appearances in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Suisse, the Dominican driver continued to develop and, together with Porsche Track Experience and Manthey, secured both the overall and AM class titles in the 2026 Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe Club Division. The step into the Asian Le Mans Series marks the next milestone in his racing career. Alongside him is Richard Lietz, a driver whose name has become closely associated with Manthey's endurance racing success. Lietz has represented the team in the Asian Le Mans Series since 2024 and brings not only extensive experience but also a deep familiarity with Manthey, the Porsche 911 GT3 R and the team's way of working. The trio is completed by Flynt Schuring. The 2026 Porsche Junior has built an impressive résumé in Porsche one-make racing, claiming several titles, including championship success in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. In 2026, he gained his first GT3 racing experience through campaigns on the Nordschleife and in GT World Challenge Europe. By joining Manthey, the Dutchman follows in the footsteps of his older brother Morris Schuring, who has already celebrated major successes with the team in FIA WEC, IMSA and DTM.

Raphael Rennhofer, Porsche 911 GT3 R #91

“I am very much looking forward to working with Klaus, Max and Manthey. Competing in the Asian Le Mans Series is a huge opportunity for me and my career. I am incredibly grateful for this chance because opportunities like this should never be taken for granted. My first full-season GT3 programme is naturally a big step, but thanks to my experience in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring, sim racing and my long-standing connection with Manthey, it feels like the right move at exactly the right time. There is still a lot for me to learn, but with Klaus, Max and the entire Manthey team around me, I could not imagine a better environment. We have the potential to fight for victories, and that is exactly what we are aiming for.”

Joel Monegro, Porsche 911 GT3 R #92

"We’re thrilled to enter the Asian Le Mans Series with Manthey for the 2026/2027 season. I began my racing career with the team, completing two seasons in the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse and winning the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe class title in 2026. After a successful first year of GT3 racing in the International GT Open with the Porsche 911 GT3 R, which also brought another class championship title, I’m very excited to race with Manthey again at this level and continue developing the relationship with the team alongside Flynt and Richard.”
