First imagined, then felt, and now seen. Cetilar Racing’s unprecedented challenge in the top tier of sports car racing is now taking definitive shape.

The livery of the Ferrari 499P that Roberto Lacorte’s team will campaign in the upcoming 2026/2027 Asian Le Mans Series, with technical support from AF Corse, was officially unveiled today at Pharmanutra’s headquarter in Pisa.

The Tuscan team’s Maranello-built Hypercar carries its traditional number 47, alongside a striking livery dominated by deep electric blue with fluorescent green stripes. With minor variations, these colours have adorned all the cars fielded by Cetilar Racing across its various sports car and GT campaigns.

As previously announced, Roberto Lacorte, his son Nicola and Ferrari factory driver Antonio Fuoco will share driving duties across the three events on the calendar, each featuring two four-hour races. This all-Italian challenge — drivers, team and car — will begin at Paul Ricard in France in mid-November, before moving on to Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, on 16–17 January, and Portimão, in Portugal’s Algarve region, on 20–21 February.

For Cetilar Racing, this will mark another major step forward, further strengthening and enriching its history. The team already boasts an impressive record, having contested five consecutive editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2017, with a best result of ninth overall and seventh in LMP2 on its debut. It subsequently competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship from 2019 to 2021, securing a class victory in the 8 Hours of Portimão with the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo in the final year of that programme.

From 2022 to 2025, Cetilar Racing competed in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, claiming GTD victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring in its debut season with the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020.

In 2023, Roberto Lacorte’s squad also became the first team to race the Ferrari 296 GT3 in the American championship. Again run by AF Corse, the car went on to finish second in class at the 12 Hours of Sebring the following year. Cetilar Racing has also contested five editions of the 24 Hours of Daytona as part of its IMSA programme.

Its most recent challenge was the 2025/2026 Asian Le Mans Series, in which Roberto Lacorte, Fuoco and Frenchman Charles Milesi finished as runners-up, taking two victories at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit and a second-place finish in Dubai with an Oreca LMP2.

Roberto Lacorte: “Today is a very special day, marking a milestone in Cetilar Racing’s history. Seeing the beautiful Ferrari 499P up close in our colours is an incredibly powerful feeling, one I find hard to put into words. We face a demanding but also hugely exciting challenge; a new chapter, certainly the most significant yet, for a team that has written important pages in the history of endurance racing worldwide over the past ten years. The 499P is an iconic car, an extraordinary machine that I will have the pleasure of sharing with an exceptional driver like Antonio Fuoco and with my son Nicola. That, too, is a dream come true. I cannot wait to get out on track at Paul Ricard in a few weeks and start turning it into reality.”

Nicola Lacorte: “For Cetilar Racing, this represents a major milestone, the culmination of a remarkable rise. The team has progressed from the entry-level categories to the very pinnacle of endurance racing and motorsport as a whole. I think that means a great deal for the entire project. Being part of this team at this particular moment in Cetilar Racing’s history is something special, because I have always watched it grow from the trackside, and now I find myself playing an active role behind the wheel.”

Antonio Fuoco: “My journey with Cetilar Racing began in 2021. Since then, we have grown together, worked on many programmes and competed in numerous championships. But I think this is something of a dream for all of us. The Ferrari 499P is a car that has written important chapters in motorsport history, and having the chance to drive it is a tremendous opportunity for everyone.”
