ARC Bratislava Returns to the Asian Le Mans Series!
Miro Konopka to make 7th appearance in Asian Le Mans Series

After finishing the FIA WEC season last weekend, the long winter months in Europe when the racetracks are closed will not be spent resting for the Slovak team ARC Bratislava! Team owner and racer Miro Konôpka will continue to focus on racing in Asia and the Middle East including a return to the Asian Le Mans Series! The 2022 Series will run over two weekends, on two tracks in the United Arab Emirates. First in Dubai and a week later in Abu Dhabi.
For Miro, it will be his 7th start in the Asian Le Mans Series. He was there first time in 2015-2016 in the GT class with the Audi R8 LMS Ultra before switching to prototypes: first LMP3 and later LMP2. And through the successes in the Asian branch of the world’s greatest endurance racing, him and the ARC Bratislava team have been awarded two invitations to race in the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2017 and 2019.
Miro Konôpka is very much looking forward to returning to the Asian Le Mans Series: “I really like this Series, and that’s why I return there every year. It is a pity that the current world’s situation with covid does not allow to start on traditional routes such as Sepang, Buriram and Fuji, but even calendar in the Middle East is interesting to me. I like the Dubai Autodrome, because in January I will start there for the twelfth time on a 24-hour race, this time on a Lamborghini Huracán GT3. In the Asian Le Mans Series, I will start in the LMP2 class. I am currently finishing negotiations with the drivers who will join us in the UAE and we will announce these shortly."
