FP2: APR Ahead in Final Practice Session of the 2025/26 Season

23Events Racing and Getspeed Top LMP3 and GT Times

The second and final Free Practice of the ALMS season saw the no25 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca take the spot in the night session. Tom Dillmann’s time of 1m41.290 was three tenths slower than the best time set in FP1 but 0.045s faster than the rest of the LMP2 field, led by the no30 RD Limited Oreca of Tristan Vautier.
 
Joint Championship points leaders Cetilar Racing and Crowdstrike Racing by APR were third and fourth fastest respectively, with Charles Milesi posting a 1m41.610 in the no47 car and Louis Deletraz a 1m41.774 in the no4 Oreca.
 
The no23 23 Events Racing Ligier was the quickest car in LMP3, with Matteo Quintarelli setting a 1m50.886, four tenths slower than the best class time in FP1.  The no94 High Class Racing was four tenths slower than the no23 Ligier, with Callum Voisin posting the best lap of 1m51.164, just ahead Dubai race winner Matus Ryba in the no71 23Events Racing Ligier, who posted a 1m51.562.
 
The GT field was led by the no9 Getspeed Mercedes-AMG of Steve Jans, who set a 1m53.470, just 0.018s ahead of Aleksei Nesov in the no59 United Autosports McLaren. The no37 QMMF by Getspeed Mercedes-AMG was third fastest on 1m53.680 set by Lucas Auer, with the championship leading no74 Kessel Racing Ferrari 0.174s behind the Qatari team in fourth, with Dustin Scott Blattner setting the best time of 1m53.854.
 
Qualifying for the 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi will take place on Saturday morning starting with the 15-minute session for GTs at 10h10 (local).
