Get Ready for the Season Finale in Abu Dhabi

Entry and Title Race for the final event of the season

The 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series season finale will be held in Abu Dhabi, with all three titles to be decided at the Yas Marina Circuit on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 February.

There are just five changes to the driver lineups from the last round in Dubai.  In LMP3, the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine will see Michelin Le Mans Cup race winners Fabien Michal and Pierre-Alexandre Provost rejoin the team after missing the races in Dubai and they will be joined by 18-year-old New Zealander Zack Scoular.

The no54 Vista AF Corse Ferrari will see two new drivers join Francesco Castellacci, with Riccardo Agostini and Custodio Toledo piloting the Ferrari 296 in Abu Dhabi.

Fred Poordad is due to return to the no30 RD Limited Oreca after he was forced to miss the races in Dubai due to an injury, but it all depends on the doctors giving the American driver the green light before this weekend.

LMP2: Cetilar and Crowdstrike Go Head-to-Head
In LMP2 the no47 Cetilar Racing and no4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR crews are tied on 80-points and with 52-points still on offer this weekend, the race for the title is still wide open.  Officially Cetilar are still leading the championship due to their two wins and one second place, compared to CrowdStrike’s two wins and two third place finishes.

Three other teams still have a mathematical chance of securing the 2025/26 ALMS LMP2 crown, and the automatic invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.  The no25 Algarve Pro Racing is currently 16 points behind the leaders on 64 points, RD Limited is on 37 points and the no5 United Autosports is on 29 points, though for United to win the title they would have to win both races from pole position and their rivals would all have to fail to score any points in either race.

LMP3: Eight Teams Still Able to Secure ALMS Title
After four pole positions, one win in Sepang and two further podiums, the no17 CLX Motorsport Ligier leads the LMP3 title race on 69-points.  However, there is just a single point separating them from the no13 Inter Europol Competition Ligier in second place and they are just 8-points ahead of the no29 Forestier Racing by VPS.  The race winning no71 23Events Racing is 4th on 58-points, just 11 points off the lead.

With 52-points still to be won, there is still plenty to play for in Abu Dhabi.  The no94 High Class Racing (42pts), no8 Team Virage (34pts), no85 R-ace GP (24pts) and the no26 Bretton Racing (20pts) all have a mathematical chance of taking the title in Abu Dhabi.

GT: Kessel Racing Hold a Commanding Lead After Dubai
While the LMP2 and LMP3 title races couldn’t be closer, the crew of the no74 Kessel Racing Ferrari hold a 21-point lead over the rest of the field and victory on Saturday would secure the title and the automatic entry to the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Reigning GT Champions Manthey are the closest rivals, with the no10 Porsche on 51 points.  Round 1 winners Getspeed are 3rd on 49 points, Round 4 winners, the no69 Team WRT BMW, and the no87 Origine Motorsport Porsche both on 43 points and the no92 Manthey Porsche on 30 points.  These are the only entries that still have a chance of denying Kessel Racing the GT title this weekend.
