2023 LMP2 Champion Returns to Challenge for 2025/26 ALMS GT Title
Salih Yoluc to Compete in Racing Team Turkey Corvette

Turkish driver Salih Yoluc is no stranger to the top step of the podium having won races in the Asian Le Mans Series, European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup, winning the ELMS LMP2 Pro/Am title in 2022 and the Asian Le Mans Series LMP2 crown in 2023.
Yoluc now returns to the series in the TF Sport run Racing Team Turkey Corvette, to challenge for the 2025/26 GT title alongside long term teammate and reigning ELMS LMGT3 champion Charlie Eastwood and Belgium’s Tom Van Rompuy.
Q: Welcome back to the Asian Le Mans Series. You are switching from LMP2 to the GT3 category this year in the TF Sport run the Racing Team Turkey Corvette. You’ve been racing in GT in IMSA and in other series for the past two seasons, is this a permanent switch to GTs for you now or are Le Mans Prototypes still on your radar if the opportunity arises? What do you like about racing GTs?
Salih Yoluc: “If I’m 100% honest I’m missing LMP2 a lot. I feel it suits me way better than any GT ever did. But unfortunately, the class has been removed from WEC and being a World Champion is my number one target, so I went back to GTs to fulfil that dream. As soon as I win the World Championship, I see myself back in a P2 cockpit. But for now, full focus is on getting good in GT and first of all, win ALMS.”
Q: You are racing with your long-term co-driver Charlie Eastwood and Belgium’s Tom Van Rompuy. Have you raced with Tom before and how well do you know him?
SY: “I have raced against Tom in ELMS and we shared a team in ALMS as well. We get on very well and he is one of the best bronze drivers around and I’m very happy to have him onboard with us.”
Q: Charlie and Tom have been racing the Corvette Z06 GT3.R in the FIA WEC this year and Charlie also won the 2025 ELMS LMGT3 title with TF Sport last month in Portugal, also with the Corvette. You’ve had few races in IMSA in the Corvette, what are your thoughts on the car and how well will the three circuits we will visit this season suit the Corvette?
SY: “It is great to see Corvette and my team having success together already so early on in their partnership, but it is inevitable with great people in the team, so I’m not surprised at all. Hopefully we will continue and improve on that success. I hope we will do very well everywhere.”
Q: Sepang is the first race of the season, and you claimed an LMP2 pole position at the track in 2023. What are your thoughts on the Sepang track, and do you have a favourite corner or corners?
SY: “I like the track in general. I don’t think I have a specific corner that I like more. The whole track is quite technical, and I really enjoy driving there.”
