The Asian Le Mans Series reaches a global audience via a world class broadcast programme.
The commentary team features five time Le Mans winner, Oliver Gavin alongside the highly experienced commentator Graham Goodwin, and in the pitlane is fan favourite Nadia Nash.
One of the most accessible sports series, the broadcast is available for free around the world including on the Asian Le Mans Series YouTube and Facebook pages, and via an extensive list of channels around the globe. In addition to the live broadcasts, the Series also benefits from an extensive highlights package broadcast post season. During the monitoring period, more than 3,722 hours of coverage was broadcast around the globe on 63 networks.
The Series also captured the attention of the world’s media who produced over 1,800 articles that reached a potential readership of 280 million. The Series was a trending topic on social media, accruing 118.9 million impressions on Twitter alone during the season.
The reach into China continues to grow significantly even with the absence of a Chinese round of the Championship. This has been achieved by creating Chinese specific marketing content, and in particular the commitment to full race live broadcasts, with dedicated Chinese commentary, on popular streaming platforms in China. The result was a digital audience in China of over 9 million for the 2022 season. Platforms included 中搜搜悦 (Zhongsou Souyue), 一直播 (YiZhiBo), 新浪新闻 (SINA News), 微博 (Weibo) and百度 (Baidu).
