Rookie of the Year:
At just 17 years of age Franco Colapinto made a big impact on the Asian Le Mans Series in his Rookie season. Not only did he put the #25 G-Drive Racing Aurus 01 in pole position for three out of the four races, he also set the fastest lap in every race.
It was this speed, couple with faultless racing, that earned him the title of “Rookie of the Year”. Franco was presented with his trophy by five-time Le Mans winner, Oliver Gavin.
