Founded in 2022, and based in England, Blackthorn Racing became a Partner Team of  Aston Martin Racing in 2023, and has decades of experience at the highest level of endurance racing in the team.

The outfit has raced in Michelin Le Mans Cup and British GT, and will be joining the Asian Le Mans Series for the first time.

For the 2024/2025 season, Blackthorn Racing entered GT with one Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 and finished 22nd.

Back for 2025/2026 in collaboration with Ecurie Ecosse to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Ecurie Ecosse's Le Mans win (1956), the team will once again race an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 in GT.
