Established in 2010 by Samantha and Stewart Cox, Algarve Pro Racing has become a stalwart of endurance racing.

The Portuguese based team first began racing Le Mans Prototypes in 2013 in the European Le Mans Series, before joining the Asian Le Mans Series for the 2015/2016 season and has become one of the most familiar faces in the paddock.

In their first year with the category, Algarve Pro Racing raced the Ligier JS P2, finishing second in the LMP2 Class and overall Championship. Going one step higher in the 2016/2017 season, the team claimed the Championship title with victory in the final race in Malaysia for Andrea Pizzitola, Andrea Roda and Aidan Read. The teams second entry finished third overall and completed an impressive season for the team.
